Meat sauce goes well with buckwheat, mashed potatoes or rice. The basis of the sauce is minced meat, which is more correctly made from two types of meat. Onions, tomatoes (fresh, canned, twisted) and dry wine are also a must. Therefore, bolognese has a piquant taste and unique aroma, and the dishes prepared with it turn into a real masterpiece of Italian cuisine. However, without knowing some of the intricacies, the bolognese sauce cannot be made tasty.
The quality of the minced meat is of key importance to the recipe. Therefore, it is better to do it yourself by scrolling through a meat grinder. If this is not possible, carefully look at the expiration date of the product and the composition. Today, many stores provide a free service for making minced meat from those products that the buyer has chosen. The bolognese sauce made from fresher minced meat will be tastier. Therefore, it is advisable not to use frozen minced meat. Or defrost properly, avoiding sudden changes in temperature. Therefore, it is better to let the minced meat thaw on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator, and then leave it at room temperature.

Ingredients:
- Pork (any other meat is possible) - 700 g
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Tomatoes - 2 pcs. (twisted canned tomatoes in the recipe)
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Milk - 200 ml
- Olive oil - for frying
- Dry red wine - 100 ml
- Basil (purple and green) - several branches (dried herbs in the recipe)
- Ground nutmeg - 1 tsp
Step by step preparation of bolognese sauce for lasagna, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the meat, dry it with a paper towel, cut off excess fat, remove the film and cut into pieces for a meat grinder. Peel the onions, wash and chop.
2. Twist the meat with onions through a meat grinder with a medium wire rack.
3. Peel the carrots, wash and grate on a coarse grater. Peel and chop the garlic.
4. Pour olive oil into a skillet and heat. Send the carrots and sauté in medium heat until golden brown.
5. Add onions to the carrots and continue frying until golden brown.
6. Send the minced meat to the pan, turn the heat slightly above medium and fry it, stirring occasionally until golden brown.
7. Send chopped greens and chopped garlic to the minced meat. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
8. Pour dry red wine into the pan.
9. Next, pour in the milk.
10. Stir well and bring food to a boil.
Place the lid on the skillet and simmer the lasagna bolognese for half an hour. At the end of cooking, taste it and adjust if necessary.
