Ingredients:
- Finely ground brewed coffee - 1 tsp.
- Armenian cognac - 50 ml or to taste (it is better to take "Yerevan")
- Sugar - 1 tsp or to taste and at will
- Drinking water - 100 ml
Step-by-step preparation of Armenian coffee with a skate, recipe with photo:
1. Pour ground coffee into a Turk. To fully enjoy the aroma and taste of the drink, it is recommended to grind coffee beans before making coffee.
You can also prepare freshly brewed espresso in any other convenient way, for example, in a coffee machine.
2. Next, pour sugar into the Turk.
3. Fill the food with drinking water.
4. Place the pot on the stove and boil over medium heat. As soon as air foam forms on the surface of the coffee, which quickly tends to rise, immediately remove the Turk from the heat.
5. Set the turk aside for 1 minute and repeat the process of boiling coffee one more time.
6. Pour the drink into a serving glass.
7. Wait until the drink has cooled to 70-80 degrees and pour in the cognac. Stir and start tasting Armenian coffee with skate. Usually, when serving such a drink, a cube of refined sugar is placed in a teaspoon and poured with 3 drops of alcohol. Sugar is ignited, and after the fire has extinguished, it is added to the coffee and stirred.
