A good liquor is very expensive. To save money, you can make it in your own kitchen. How to make a delicious homemade egg liqueur with chocolate, read in a step-by-step recipe with a photo. Video recipe.
There are a huge number of recipes for making liqueurs. In the course of long experiments, I found for myself a favorite and proven homemade egg liqueur with chocolate. It turns out it is tender, viscous, with an amazing chocolate aroma and taste. You can use homemade egg liqueur with chocolate not only for independent use. It will also be a great substitute for impregnating cakes, muffins, rolls …
- Alcohol. Cognac is used as an alcoholic drink in the recipe. It must be of good quality, because the taste of the drink depends on it. It can be replaced with any other quality alcoholic beverage like whiskey, rum, brandy or vodka. You can experiment endlessly with the amount of alcohol, using it as much as you like best.
- Chocolate. It is equally important to use quality dark chocolate. With it, the liqueur is obtained with a richer chocolate flavor. Pay attention to the label: there should be a lot of cocoa beans and cocoa butter in the composition. If the list of ingredients starts with sugar, then the tasty liquor will not work. Moreover, if you want to soften the taste of the drink, then replace the dark chocolate with milk.
- Eggs. I recommend beating the eggs strongly with sugar, then the drink will be thick and viscous. If you just connect them, then the liquor will be liquid, but it should not be so. In this case, you should very carefully separate the egg white from the yolks, because even a drop of protein, during preparation, will create a lump that spoils all the pleasure of the drink.

Step by step preparation of homemade egg liqueur with chocolate, recipe with photo:
1. Wash eggs under running water. Break them gently with a knife and separate the whites from the yolks. Make sure that the whites do not get into the yolk, because they will spoil the taste of the drink. You don't need proteins in the recipe, so you can use them for any other dish.
2. Pour sugar or icing sugar over the yolks. If you want to make the drink more useful, use honey.
3. Beat the yolks with a mixer until fluffy, thick, lemon-colored foam. Since raw eggs are used for the recipe, take them of good quality, and preferably homemade ones.
4. Break the chocolate into pieces. Place in a convenient container and melt in a water bath or microwave until soft. You do not need to overheat it, because if it boils, the taste will deteriorate, which will be impossible to return.
5. Add melted chocolate into beaten egg yolks.
6. Stir the food with a mixer to form a thick egg-chocolate mass.
7. Pre-boil the milk, cool well and add to the egg-chocolate mass.
8. Mix the food with a mixer until smooth and smooth.
9. Pour cognac into the liquid.
10. Leave the drink to cool in the refrigerator for half an hour to thicken slightly. Then you can start tasting it. Store homemade egg liqueur with chocolate in the refrigerator for no longer than 2-3 days.
