The dish turns out to be very appetizing due to the fact that the potatoes are soaked in dry wine and olive oil with spices: salt, black pepper and mustard. Due to this composition of ingredients, the taste of potatoes in the salad becomes bitter.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes - 0.5 kg
  • Tomatoes - 200 g
  • Peas - 200 g fresh or canned
  • Olive oil - 200 g
  • Bulb onions - 1 pc.
  • Dry wine - 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt, ground black pepper

Cooking salad with boiled bitter potatoes and green peas

  1. To begin with, potatoes are prepared, which, if desired, can also be used as an independent side dish, which is served cold. Boil potatoes in their uniforms until tender, let cool, then peel. Cut the potatoes into slices and place in a bowl, add finely chopped onions to it.
  2. To prepare the sauce: in a deep bowl, combine the vinegar, wine, olive oil, mustard, pepper, salt. Pour the resulting sauce over the potatoes with onions, mix, let soak for 15 minutes, mix gently again so as not to break the potatoes.
  3. Cut the washed tomatoes into small slices (quarters). Add the tomatoes along with the green peas to the soaked potatoes. Stir the salad, serve.

Instead of tomatoes, you can use cucumbers, instead of peas, you can use corn. Such dishes are popular with lovers of spicy, savory dishes, especially in the summer heat, because they are juicy and served cold.
