What foods can melon go with?
This salad is perfect both for a festive feast and for a family lunch or dinner. Combinations of vegetables, in principle, can be very diverse. Taking my recipe as a base, you can supplement or replace it with any products. For example, you can add jamon, prosciutto, homemade smoked meats, Parma or dry-cured ham. Any cheese, both hard and soft varieties, will be appropriate. Seafood is fine - scallops, shrimp or mussels. Also, do not forget about the fruit melon salad, which will diversify your dessert table.
The beauty of sweet and sour salads lies precisely in the combination of contrasting tastes. The main requirement for products is good quality. The products are fresh, fruits and vegetables are ripe, and the oil is refined. It also emphasizes the taste contrast of the salad, the shape of the cut of the products. Although, if you don't cut them, the salad will still be delicious.
Which melon to choose?
Ripe and sweet melon is the base of fruit salads and an important ingredient in vegetable or meat salads. For such salads, buy melon varieties with aromatic, dense pulp so that it gives a little juice in the finished dish. Cantaloupe or cantaloupe varieties are ideal.

Ingredients:
- Cucumber - 1 pc.
- Tomato - 1 pc.
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Melon - 200 g
- Green onions - 2 sprigs
- Tartar sauce - 2 tsp
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Refined vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons
Cooking Salted Melon Salad
1. Wash the melon, cut it in half and remove the seeds. Then cut off the required part (200 g), peel it, and cut the pulp into cubes, which you put in a salad bowl.
2. Wash, dry and cut the tomatoes into cubes or slices.
3. Wash cucumbers, dry and cut into thin half rings.
4. Wash green onions, chop and add to a salad bowl to all products.
5. Boil the egg hard-boiled, about 10 minutes. Then cool for 5 minutes in cold water, peel and cut into large pieces. I advise you to boil the eggs in advance so that they cool well.
6. All the ingredients for the salad are sliced, now prepare the dressing. To do this, put the Tartar sauce in a saucepan, pour soy sauce and refined vegetable oil.
7. Stir the sauce well and before serving the salad, season it and do not forget to salt it. If the seasoned and salty salad is served after a while, the food will start to juice and the salad will be very watery.
