Fusilli is a kind of classic Italian pasta in the form of a small spiral made from durum wheat.
Of course, in the absence of fusilli, any long or short pasta will do. In any case, the recipe is easy to prepare and will take a minimum of time. It does not require complex culinary manipulations or lengthy preparation. The main thing is that the food is not very high in calories. At the same time, the dish turns out to be quite satisfying, tasty, healthy and light.

- Boiled-frozen shrimps - 50 g
- Hard cheese - 20 g
- Water - for cooking pasta
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
Step by step cooking fizilli pasta with shrimp and cheese, recipe with photo:
1. Pour drinking water into a saucepan, season with salt and bring to a boil. Dip pasta into boiling water (always made from durum wheat flour) and stir so that they do not stick together and do not stick to the bottom. Bring the water to a boil again, turn the heat to moderate, and cook the pasta until tender, uncovered. The cooking times and instructions are indicated on the manufacturer's packaging label. The main thing is not to digest them.
2. While the pasta is boiling, defrost the cooked frozen shrimp at room temperature or using the microwave. After that, clean them from the shell and cut off the heads. Then reheat the seafood in the microwave to keep it hot. If you are not afraid of extra calories, you can lightly fry them in a pan in butter or vegetable oil. It is important that they reach a warm temperature because we are preparing the second course, not the pasta salad.
3. Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
4. Put the boiled pasta on a sieve and drain the water. If you will additionally prepare the sauce for the dish, then leave the water in which the pasta was cooked. She is good at diluting thick sauce, because the starch from the pasta has passed into the water, and the sauce will turn out with a thin consistency.
5. Combine hot boiled pasta with shrimp and stir. If you wish, you can add a piece of butter to the dish.
6. Place the pasta and shrimp on a serving platter.
7. Sprinkle grated cheese on the fizilli and shrimp pasta and serve immediately. It is not accepted to cook pasta for future use, because when stored in refrigerators, they stick together and lose their appetizing appearance. Therefore, prepare the dish just before serving, because you cannot warm it up.
