Cooking oatmeal in a jar with pumpkin, honey and cinnamon
1. Pour the oatmeal into the jar. Their number should be about half the can. The size of the can can be any, but most often the standard capacity of 0.5 liters is used. The neck of the container should be wide so that it is convenient to eat porridge with a spoon directly from the jar. But if you don't have a glass jar, then any plastic container, bowl, or small saucepan will do.
2. Place pumpkin puree on top. It can be made from boiled or baked pumpkin, and a few days before the porridge is cooked. After puréing the pumpkin after cooking, keep it in the refrigerator and use it as directed.
3. Add honey to the container. Adjust its amount yourself. And if bee products cannot be consumed, then replace them with brown or regular sugar, jam or jam.
4. Pour coconut and ground cinnamon into the container.
5. Fill the food with boiled cold drinking water not to the end of the jar by 1 cm. It is the cold method of cooking porridge that is the peculiarity of the dish, in which even more nutrients are preserved intact.
If you want a hearty breakfast, you can cook porridge with milk, fermented baked milk, kefir, cottage cheese, cocoa, etc.
6. Close the jar with a lid and shake to distribute the ingredients evenly. After opening it, add water, close the lid and send to the refrigerator.
7. After 2-3 hours the dish will be ready to eat. I would like to note that traditionally this kind of porridge is prepared in a cold way. But if you want, you can heat it up in the microwave and use it warm.
