Some housewives, thinking about which fish to give preference to, completely unfairly ignore the silver carp. After all, this fish is in no way inferior to its fellow carp family, neither in taste, nor in useful properties. Silver carp, baked in the oven, turns out to be especially tender and amazingly tasty.
How to choose a silver carp?
When choosing silver carp, give preference to large individuals, as they have very few bones and a lot of meat. The ideal weight of a fish is considered to be from 2.5 to 4 kg. You can recognize this fish in the supermarket by the greenish-gray color of the back and head, and the silvery color of the abdomen and sides.
Since this fish is a commercial fish and lives mainly in fresh water bodies, it may smell of a river and mud. This aroma is especially felt when frying fish in a pan. But if the tostoloba is baked in the oven, then it will not only be juicy, but also practically get rid of the fishy smell, acquire a delicate appetizing aroma.

Cooking baked silver carp in the oven
1. Wash the silver carcass. Scrape off the husk with a scraper. Cut off the head, tail and fins. Using a knife, carefully cut the belly and remove the insides, and do this carefully so as not to cut the gallbladder, otherwise it will leak out and spoil the taste of the fish. Remove the black film inside the abdomen. Wash the carcass again and cut into portioned steaks.
2. Wash the lemon and cut into slices (half rings). Peel the garlic, wash and chop.
3. Pour the soy sauce into a saucepan.
4. Add chopped garlic.
5. Add the fish seasoning, salt and pepper and stir well to distribute all the spices evenly.
6. Place silver carp slices on a baking sheet. Pour the prepared sauce over each of them and top with a slice of lemon. Heat the oven to 200 degrees and send the fish to bake for 40 minutes. In this case, for the first 30 minutes, bake it under foil, which you remove 10 minutes before cooking, so that the fish is browned.
Serve the finished fish immediately. I am sure that the silver carp prepared according to this recipe will quickly become your favorite dish.
