Omelet is deservedly considered the most impeccable breakfast dish. After all, eggs with vegetables, cheese and meat are always tasty, satisfying, healthy. Such dishes harmoniously combine sophistication and simplicity that have been familiar to mankind since ancient times. Even in ancient Rome, it was customary to end a meal with sweet food made from eggs. However, in those distant times, they were cooked with honey, and served for dessert.
Today I propose to experiment a little and make a sweet omelet, but only with apples. It is absolutely not high-calorie and light, but at the same time satisfying. Naturally, not every housewife will dare to such experiments. However, I highly recommend cooking it and discovering a new dish with an original twist.

Making an apple omelet
1. Wash the apples under running water and dry with a paper or cloth towel. Remove the core with a special knife and cut the flesh into cubes. I advise you not to cut the skin from the apple, otherwise, during the heat treatment, the apple will turn into gruel.
If you don't like apples, you can substitute other fruits and berries for them. For example, pears, strawberries, peaches, etc.
2. Heat the pan. Add the butter and melt it. Then send the apples to fry. Cast iron pans with thick sides and bottom are ideal for cooking all types of omelettes. They warm up evenly and keep warm for a long time. It is also good if the dishes have a non-stick coating.
3. Season the apples with sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle them with lemon juice if you like.
4. Fry the apples until soft and lightly golden brown. Do not fry them too much, as they will still be baked in the omelet itself. In apples, tenderness and juiciness should remain.
5. Now take the egg, wash its shell, preferably with soap, and beat it into a deep container (plate).
6. Beat the egg with a whisk or fork. If you want the omelet to turn out to be airy, then use a mixer. To satiate the omelet, you can add 1 tablespoon to the egg. flour, which is good to mix in. And to make the omelet more tender, put a spoonful of sour cream.
7. Pour the egg mixture over the apples. Cover the pan with a lid, set low heat and let the omelet cook for 7-10 minutes. It is advisable to use the cover with a hole through which the evaporating moisture can escape. Serve the finished omelet immediately with a cup of hot freshly brewed tea.
