Cooking Spicy Orange Pears
1. Wash the pears under running water, dry with a paper towel and remove the pits with a special knife. Cut them into wedges into 6-8 servings, depending on the size. Pieces should not be very small, otherwise the pears will not keep their shape, become limp and creep in the pan. For the same reason, they should not be peeled.
2. Place the fruit in a deep bowl. Season them with honey, orange juice and mix well. To do this, wash the orange, cut off the desired part and squeeze the juice out of them directly onto the pears.
3. On the stove, turn on medium heat and place a frying pan on it. Place the butter in a frypot and melt. Do not overheat the oil, otherwise it will start to smoke and the pears will have a burnt flavor.
4. Send pears to the pan to fry.
5. Sprinkle the pears with ground cinnamon and fry them on both sides for about 2 minutes each. If you want a crisper crust, keep the fruit on the fire for about 10 minutes. Serve the finished dessert immediately after cooking, because they are delicious when hot. If you wish, you can add whipped cream or a couple of ice cream balls when serving.
