1. Wash the beets, put them in a cooking pot, fill with drinking water and boil until tender, ie. softness. This process usually takes about 2 hours. Therefore, I recommend doing this in advance, for example, in the evening. After the root vegetable cool well, peel and grate on a coarse grater.
