The beauty of the recipe is that sausages do not need to be fried, because they are baked in the oven, which makes them less nutritious.
This potato pie turns out to be much tastier than its counterpart in the dough. It is, of course, delicious to eat hot, in the heat of the heat, but it does not lose its taste after cooling. Therefore, sausages in potato dough can be taken with you to work, study, on a hike, on outdoor activities, nature, put your child in school … Such a dish, even cold, would be a good option to refresh yourself.
Sausages in mashed potatoes are an example of how to make an original hearty dish from ordinary products. This is a replacement for regular boiled sausages. They are obtained immediately with a side dish, so you do not need to cook anything else. It is enough to serve the dish to the table with fresh vegetables, salad, herbs.

1. For sausages in potato dough, peel, wash, dice and put potatoes in a saucepan.
It is advisable to take crumbly potatoes with a high starch content for mashed potatoes, it is easier to make a "dough" from it.
2. Fill the tubers with water, add salt and cook until tender.
3. Then drain the water from the pan, crush the potatoes with a pusher until smooth and add flour.
4. Stir the dough and add the eggs. Knead the dough again. For taste and aroma, you can add any spices and herbs to the dough. The consistency of the dough will depend on the amount of flour added. If you want the dough to be firm, add twice the flour. According to the proposed recipe, the dough is liquid, and is used like a batter.
5. If sausages are of good quality, in a dense casing, such sausages do not need preliminary preparation. It is better to boil all other sausages beforehand so that they do not burst during baking. Use mini sausages whole, and cut large sausages into 2-3 pieces.
Dip the prepared sausages into the potato dough.
6. Twist the sausage several times so that it is completely covered with dough on all sides.
