What is in muesli
Muesli is a mixture of cereal flakes made from whole grains, crushed by a press. Usually the basis of muesli is oats, but it can be in the composition of rye, wheat or barley. The beauty of these ingredients lies in the high fiber content, since they are natural grains.
The composition of muesli contains all the benefits of cereals: a considerable amount of fiber and ballast substances that cleanse the intestines. In addition, the product is rich in minerals and vitamins E and group B.
Muesli can be prepared with or without additives. In the role of additives, most often there are: candied fruits, dried fruits, nuts, chocolate pieces, sesame seeds, fruits, sunflower seeds, honey, etc. These products enrich the taste of the dish, add useful minerals, vitamins and calories. It is difficult to call store-bought muesli natural and healthy, as they are mixed with flavors and preservatives. Therefore, it is advisable to cook muesli yourself, then you can regulate both the usefulness of the additives and the calorie content of the dish.
The benefits of natural muesli
The best muesli, especially for weight loss, is a mixture of cereals with seeds and fruits. They significantly improve the absorption of nutrients and enrich the diet. Thus, muesli can saturate for a long time, while also giving a feeling of pleasure from food. Oatmeal, which is part of muesli, lowers cholesterol, binds heavy metals and toxins in the intestines.
Harm and contraindications of muesli
Despite all the benefits of muesli, they may not be all useful either. For example, sweet muesli with chocolate or with the addition of vegetable oils and fat will not help you lose weight. Also, muesli is less useful - it is fried. They are much more nutritious and less valuable in terms of vitamin and mineral composition. In all other respects, muesli will help to gently and smoothly reduce weight, and will be beneficial for children, pregnant women, lactating mothers and the elderly.

2. Peel the walnuts with a nutcracker, and cut the kernels with a knife into 2-3 pieces. If desired, you can prick the nuts in a pan for about 2 minutes.
3. Place oatmeal, chopped apples and walnuts in a plate.
4. To these add peeled sunflower seeds, which you can also lightly fry, coconut, dried cream and honey.
5. Boil water and pour boiling water over the food.
6. Mix all the ingredients well with each other, cover the plate with a lid or an inverted saucer and leave the muesli to infuse for 5-7 minutes. If you wish, you can pour the muesli with milk or fruit juice, but in this case the calorie content of the dish will increase. After this time, the oatmeal will swell and you can start using muesli.
