Step-by-step preparation of manna with peaches, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the peaches under running cold water. Rinse off the dusting well on the fruit and wipe with a paper towel. Cut the fruit in half and remove the pit. If the peaches are large, then cut them into smaller pieces: slices, cubes, quarters …
2. Wash and dry the eggs with a paper towel. Break the shells gently and separate the whites from the yolks. Place the squirrels in a clean and dry container without moisture and grease droplets. Otherwise, they will not beat up to the desired consistency. They're not needed for now, so put them in the refrigerator.
3. Pour sugar over the yolks and beat with a mixer until foamy.
4. Pour semolina to the yolks and mix with a mixer so that it is evenly distributed throughout the mass.
5. Leave the yolks with semolina for half an hour so that the cereals swell and increase in size. If the pie is immediately sent to the oven, then in the finished form the cereal will crunch on the teeth. After swelling, the semolina will become soft and airy, and baked goods from it practically do not differ from baked goods made from flour.
6. Beat egg whites with a mixer until firm white foam. Operate the instrument at low rpm at first, gradually increasing the speed. Add the proteins to the dough one tablespoon at a time and stir in slowly.
7. Run the beaters at the lowest rpm. When you've added all the proteins, add baking soda to the dough and stir.
8. Line a baking dish with parchment and grease with butter.
9. Arrange the peaches in a dish and sprinkle with semolina.
10. Pour the dough over the peaches and twist the mold until it spreads evenly and covers all the fruits.
11. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the manna with peaches to bake for 40 minutes. Cooking time is approximate: it depends on the oven and the shape of the cake. Therefore, check the readiness of the product by puncturing a wooden splinter (barbecue skewer or toothpick): stick the stick in the middle of the cake and take it out. It should be clean and dry, if with sticky dough, bake further. Chill the finished cake in a mold, then remove and serve.
