- Cottage cheese - 200 g
- Salt - a pinch
- Kefir - 150 ml
- Flour - 200 g
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Baking soda - 1 tsp without top
- Vegetable oil - for frying
A step-by-step recipe for making kefir pancakes with cottage cheese:
1. Place the curd in a bowl where you will knead the dough. Mash large lumps with a fork. And if you want to completely disguise its presence, then whisk with a blender.
2. Add room temperature kefir to the curd. only with warm fermented milk products will soda react.
3. Then add the egg. It should be warm for the same reason. Therefore, remove the kefir with eggs from the refrigerator in advance.
4. Pour in flour, which is sifted through a fine sieve. It will be enriched with oxygen and will give the baked goods extra splendor. Then add a pinch of salt, sugar and baking soda. Add the latter by spraying over the food, and do not put it in one piece.
5. Knead the dough to a uniform consistency without lumps.
6. Sprinkle vegetable oil into the skillet and place it on the stove. Heat over high heat to keep the oil very hot. Then screw the temperature to a moderate mode and spread the dough with a tablespoon. It will not drip from the spoon, but will slowly subside. Fry the pancakes for about 1-1.5 minutes.
7. When they are golden brown, turn the pancakes over. Fry them until golden and remove from heat. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, chocolate icing, or garnish with whipped cream. Serve hot with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or a glass of warm milk.
