Step-by-step preparation of puff pastry roll with minced meat, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the meat, cut off excess films and fat. Twist it through a meat grinder. Season with garlic, ground pepper, salt and your favorite spices. Mix well. I recommend taking lean meat, without fat. Since the puff pastry is prepared on the basis of butter or margarine, the roll will turn out to be quite fatty and satisfying.
2. In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil and put the minced meat to fry. Turn on high heat and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. It will quickly become covered with a crust that will keep the juiciness in the meat.

3. Screw the temperature down to medium setting and add all the spices and herbs to the minced meat. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Stir and simmer the minced meat for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Make sure that it is not too runny, otherwise the dough will turn out wet and not crunchy.
5. Defrost the dough by this time in a natural way without using a microwave oven and roll it out into a rectangular layer 3-5 mm thick.
6. Spread the filling on the dough in an even layer, retreating from the edges by 1, 5-2 cm.
7. Tuck the dough on three edges of the layer, covering the meat filling so that it does not fall out.
8. Roll the dough into a roll.
9. Put the roll on a baking sheet with the seam down, brush it with milk, butter or egg so that the product has a golden, appetizing crust, and send it to bake in a heated oven to 180 degrees for half an hour. Serve the finished pie to the table, both warm and chilled.
