Ingredients:
- Puff yeast dough - 350 g
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Eggs or butter - for greasing the roll
- Ketchup - 3 tablespoons
- Meat (any sort) - 400 g
- Dried green onion powder - 0.5 tsp
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Salt - 1 tsp topless or to taste
- Dried garlic powder - 0.5 tsp
Step-by-step preparation of a roll from a purchased puff-yeast dough with minced meat, a recipe with a photo:
1. Wash the meat, dry it with a paper towel, clean it from all excess and twist it through a meat grinder.
2. Peel the onions, wash and twist through a meat grinder.
3. Season the minced meat with any spices or herbs to taste and stir.
4. Place the pan on the stove, add vegetable oil and heat. Send the minced meat into it, evenly distributing it over the entire bottom.
5. Fry the minced meat on the fire a little over medium, stirring it until golden brown. Add ketchup, dried garlic and green onion powder to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Stir the food, turn the heat to the minimum setting and simmer the minced meat for 5 minutes.
7. Defrost the frozen puff pastry dough naturally on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator without using a microwave oven. Then grind the work surface with flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a thin rectangular layer about 3-4 mm thick.
8. Place the meat filling on the dough.
9. Spread the minced meat all over the dough layer, leaving 2 cm free dough edges on all four sides.
10. Tuck the free edges of the dough on three sides of the sheet, covering the filling.
11. Roll the dough into a roll and place seam side down on a baking sheet.
12. Along the entire length of the roll, make transverse, shallow cuts at a distance of 1, 5-2 cm from each other. Lubricate the roll with vegetable oil, milk or egg yolk so that there is a golden crust. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send a roll of purchased puff-yeast dough with minced meat to bake for half an hour.
