Today we will prepare a salad of cabbage, tomatoes, suluguni and poached eggs. The highlight of the meal is poached, but the vegetable component can be varied. The main thing is to harmoniously select the ingredients, mix them together and decorate with an appetizing egg.
Such a salad will be a great breakfast or light dinner, when the appetite has not yet woken up in the morning and you do not want to eat much, and in the evening it is harmful to clog the stomach with heavy food for digestion. Suluguni and poached egg will perfectly saturate, and vegetables will add freshness and lightness. If you wish, you can experiment with different dressings. For example, instead of vegetable oil, take olive oil, or make a difficult component sauce from mustard, lemon juice and soy sauce. But then, deciding to experiment with the dressing, try it on a small portion, and if the operation is successful, fill the whole salad. Because the success of a salad depends both on the combination of ingredients and their harmony with the dressing. Also, when preparing a salad, it should be borne in mind that if you want to preserve the freshness of the dish as much as possible, then salt it immediately before serving. Ingredients:
- White cabbage - 150 g
- Flax seeds - 0.5 tsp
- Tomatoes - 1 pc.
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Suluguni - 75 g
- Salt - a pinch
Step-by-step preparation of salad from cabbage, tomatoes, suluguni and poached eggs, recipe with photo:
1. Place the contents of the egg in a container with drinking water and add a small pinch of salt.
2. Send it to the microwave for 1 minute and boil the poached egg.
3. Drain the container carefully to avoid damaging the egg. If you are used to preparing poached eggs in a different way, then use it.
4. While the poached is cooking, chop the cabbage into thin strips.
5. Cut the suluguni into 1 cm cubes.
6. Cut the tomatoes into cubes or wedges of any convenient size.
7. In a bowl, combine all the products: cabbage, tomatoes and suluguni. Season them with vegetable oil and salt.
8. Stir the food well.
9. Place the salad on a serving plate and sprinkle with flax seeds.
10. Gently place the poached egg on top of the vegetables. Serve the prepared salad of cabbage, tomatoes, suluguni and poached eggs immediately to the table.
