Cook lamb in a pot of vegetables, and no one will remain indifferent to the spicy taste, both during a family lunch and at a gala dinner. A step-by-step recipe with a photo of a delicious, aromatic and elegant dish. Video recipe.
Oven-cooked lamb in a pot with vegetables is a very tasty meat dish with juicy vegetables. The beauty of the food is that it can be cooked in a variety of ways, depending on which you get different dishes. For example, meat and vegetables can be pre-fried in a pan, and then simmered in a pot in the oven. Or immediately put all the products in a pot and send them to the brazier to stew. Today I have lamb in a pot with eggplant, potatoes, onions and tomatoes, where meat with potatoes and blue ones are pre-fried in a pan. Since each pot is portioned, depending on the taste preferences of each family member, they can be made different. For those who love fried and hearty dishes, the meat must be pre-fried. For those who prefer a more dietary meal, immediately put vegetables in pots. You can also exclude, replace or supplement the meal with those vegetables that you like the most. Therefore, when preparing one dish, you can make it different to the taste of each family member. In addition, this dish is perfect for the holidays. Firstly, it practically does not require the attention of the hostess. Secondly, it can be prepared in advance, and then only warmed up in the oven. The main thing is that the number of pots corresponds to the number of eaters.
- You can cook lamb in clay or ceramic pots. Earthenware is pre-soaked for 10 to ten in cold water, then the dish will turn out juicy.
- Close the pot with lids, and in their absence with dough or foil.
- Lamb will turn out to be more delicious if you add mayonnaise or sour cream to the pot.
- Spices are added by those that please.
- Take vegetables for the dish, fresh, dried or frozen, which are available.
- In winter, fresh tomatoes can be substituted for tomato paste or sauce.

13. Next, put the potatoes and onions.
14. Season everything with salt and black pepper, add garlic with hot pepper and add tomatoes. Pour in 50 ml of boiled drinking water and close the pots with a lid. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the lamb in a pot of vegetables to bake for 40 minutes.
