The dish may well become a specialty one, because preparing it is easy and simple, and for a hearty and nutritious meal, you need affordable, simple products that every housewife always has. Potatoes with meat are always relevant, both in the daily menu and at a festive feast.
For the recipe, veal ribs are used, but pork, lamb, beef, etc. are suitable. The dish can be baked in the oven in portioned pots or one large container, or stewed in a saucepan on the stove. But stewed ribs with potatoes are really juicy in a cauldron. Such a dish is rightfully considered a culinary classic and does not need additional recommendations. It is very tasty, the meat is tender and separates from the bone. The potatoes are pre-fried to make them more aromatic and spicy.

Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 6-7 pcs. depending on the size
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Veal ribs - 1 kg
- Any spices and spices to taste
- Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Salt - 1 tsp topless or to taste
Step by step cooking potatoes with veal ribs, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the veal ribs and dry with a paper towel. Trim off excess fat and cut the ribs into separate segments.
2. Peel the potatoes, wash and dry with a paper towel. Cut into medium-sized pieces with sides about 2 cm.
3. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat. Lay the ribs in one layer and turn the heat on slightly above medium.
4. Fry the ribs until golden brown, which seals the meat on all sides and retains all the juices. If the meat is piled up in a mountain, then it will immediately begin to stew and release juice, which will make it less juicy.
5. Add potatoes to the pan, stir and continue to fry until the tubers are golden.
6. Then season the food with salt and black pepper. Add any spices and seasonings as desired.
7. Pour water into a saucepan so that it only covers the food one finger higher and bring to a boil.
8. Bring food to a boil, cover the pot and turn the heat to the lowest setting. Simmer potatoes with veal ribs for 40-45 minutes. If you want the potatoes to be very boiled, continue stewing for 1, 5 hours.
