Cartopeans with meat also have a second name "zrazy", which refers to the Lithuanian, Polish, Belarusian and Ukrainian cuisine. Initially, this dish consisted of beaten meat with a vegetable filling along with eggs. After the dish evolved, its varieties appeared, like potato zrazy or cartopeans. It is a dish in the form of flat cakes or cutlets from boiled potatoes with any fillings: meat, mushroom, vegetable. And the most nutritious and satisfying this dish is obtained precisely with meat filling, which is used as any kind of meat: pork, lean beef, chicken fillet. Well, and potato tubers, it is advisable to take those that boil well.
Hostesses most often prepare such a dish for the everyday menu, although it is also great for treating at a festive feast. Among the advantages of this dish: it can be consumed both hot and cold. In addition, such potato cutlets are convenient to take with you on the road and to work as a snack. When frying potatoes, they may start to crack, which means that there is little flour in the dough. And if you suddenly go too far with flour, then beat another egg into the dough. They can be served as a separate dish, or with the first course, for example, with borscht.

Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 5-6 pcs.
- Pork - 500 g
- Chicken fillet - 200 g
- Onions - 1 pc.

- Wheat flour - 3-5 tablespoons

- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste

Step-by-step cooking of the cartoons with meat:
1. Peel the potatoes and wash them under running water.
2. Cut the potatoes into pieces and place them in the cooking pot. Add bay leaves, peeled garlic cloves and salt.
3. Fill with drinking water and place on the stove to boil. Boil, skim off the froth, reduce heat to low, cover the pot and simmer for about 20-30 minutes. Then try the potatoes with a fork or knife, they should be soft.

7. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and mix well.
8. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and add the minced meat. Fry it over high heat until golden brown.
