- Vegetable oil - 20 ml
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Milk - 1, 5 tbsp.
- Sugar - 5 tablespoons or to taste
- Water - 0.5 tbsp.
- Salt - a pinch
Step-by-step preparation of Ukrainian pancakes, recipe with photo:
1. Pour room temperature drinking water into a dough mixing container.
2. Next add a raw egg.
3. Pour in room temperature milk and whisk to mix the liquid ingredients.
In this recipe, homemade very fatty milk is used. Therefore, it is diluted with water. If the milk is purchased with a moderate fat content, then exclude the water from the recipe, and replace some of it with milk. Although pancakes cooked in water are thinner and stronger, they are much tastier with milk. Therefore, it is better to mix milk and water, then you get strong and tasty cribs.
4. Add flour sifted through a fine sieve to the food. So it will be enriched with oxygen and the pancakes will be more tender.
5. Add sugar, salt and vegetable oil to the dough. Stir the dough well until smooth with a whisk or blender so that there are no lumps. The oil must be added to the dough so that the pancakes do not stick to the pan. If it is not poured into the dough, then the frying pan will have to be greased before baking each leaflet.
6. Heat the pan well. Take a portion of the dough with a ladle and pour it into the pan. Swirl the pan to spread the dough in a thin layer over the bottom. Bake the pancakes over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
7. Flip the pancake over and cook for 1 minute. Remove from the pan and brush with butter. Serve ready-made Ukrainian pancakes to the table hot, immediately after cooking.
