Lagman is a thick Central Asian dish made from beef, sometimes lamb or chicken, with vegetables and noodles - mostly homemade. Vegetable set can be very different: tomatoes, eggplants, bell peppers, onions, carrots, radishes, potatoes, squash … In addition, spices and herbs are always included in the dish, and fresh herbs are added to each portion before serving. The peculiarity of the dish is homemade noodles, which not every housewife can cook on their own, because it is a laborious process. Therefore, it will be easier to buy it in the store, giving preference to durum wheat noodles. This will not stick together in the first minutes of cooking. Although recently, with no less success, noodles have been replaced with high-quality spaghetti.

In this review, we will consider a recipe for making a delicious lagman from tender chicken meat. Although, if you wish, you can replace the poultry with another type of meat, classic lamb or beef. Seasonal summer vegetables are used for the thick vegetable sauce and can be substituted or supplemented. 16. When the vegetable dish is ready, boil the pasta. To do this, pour water into a saucepan, salt and bring to a boil. Dip the spaghetti, stir to keep them from sticking together, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook pasta until tender. The cooking time is written on the manufacturer's packaging. If you are afraid that the pasta will stick together during cooking, then pour a few tablespoons of vegetable oil into the stewpan.

Put the finished boiled spaghetti in a deep plate, add the vegetable dressing and put a few pieces of chicken. If you want to dilute lagman with chicken, add the broth in which the pasta was cooked to the plate. Also add fresh herbs.
