When consuming this aristocratic elixir, it should be remembered that it cannot be drunk on an empty stomach. This will cause heartburn and possibly even stomach ulcers. Step-by-step preparation of coffee with salt and cognac, recipe with photo:
1. Pour coffee into a Turk. It is better to make coffee from finely ground coffee beans, almost into powder, so that a thick foam forms in the drink, and also so that the thick does not grind on the teeth.
Note: Ground coffee quickly loses its taste, smell and essential oils. Therefore, it is advisable to grind the grains yourself shortly before preparing the drink.
2. Then add a pinch of salt. Add aromatic seasonings if desired: cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, anise. Then you will get a delicious treat, which will be appreciated by lovers of unusual flavor combinations.
3. Fill the food with drinking water and place the Turk on the stove.
4. Bring drink to a boil over medium heat.
5. As soon as the first foam forms on the surface, which will quickly tend upward, remove the turk from the heat so that the coffee does not escape.
6. Set the turk aside for 1-2 minutes to infuse and pour the drink into a serving cup. Salted coffee is usually poured into coffee cups without straining. Sometimes a few drops of water are added to the cup, so that the thickets sit on the bottom faster.
7. Add cognac to the coffee with salt, stir and serve. It is customary to drink such coffee in small sips. Sometimes it is washed down with cold boiled water. Therefore, you can supply cold water separately. See also a video recipe on how to make coffee with cognac.
