Almost all people drink coffee with sugar. However, these traditions are not followed by people living in hot countries, where it is customary to drink coffee with salt. This solution makes the drink unusual in taste. A small pinch of salt softens the water and enhances the aroma of the coffee. With such a seasoning, the aroma and taste of coffee is revealed in a new way. In addition, salt removes excess coffee bitterness. This is especially suitable for people who like strong natural coffee, but do not like the pronounced bitterness. Then the salt added to the coffee will improve the characteristics of the drink.
Another feature of such a drink is that coffee with salt and pepper is not filtered through a sieve, but served with thick, which is precipitated by a few drops of cold water. They drink such coffee in small sips, washed down with cold boiled water if desired. Then a separate glass of clean water is served with the drink. Usually coffee is prepared in coffee machines, some brew it right away in a cup, but real connoisseurs prepare it in a Turk. Coffee with salt and black ground pepper should be brewed in a copper or brass turk. This is considered the most correct way of cooking.
