- Pickled mushrooms - 300 g
- Green onions - bunch
- Processed cheese - 100 g
- Salt - pinch or to taste
- Hard boiled eggs - 2 pcs.
- Mayonnaise - for dressing
Step-by-step preparation of salad with pickled mushrooms, melted cheese, eggs, green onions and mayonnaise, recipe with photo:
1. Cut the processed cheese into medium-sized cubes, like for an Olivier salad. If it chokes and wrinkles when slicing, soak it in the freezer for 15 minutes beforehand. It will freeze and it will be easier to cut.
2. Peel the boiled eggs and cut into the same size as the cheese. To boil hard-boiled eggs, dip them in a saucepan of cold water and, after boiling, simmer for 8 minutes. Then transfer to a container of ice water, which is changed several times. A sharp drop in temperature will make it easier to peel eggs from the shell.
3. Wash green onions, dry with a paper towel and chop finely.
4. Place the pickled mushrooms in a sieve and rinse under running cold water. Leave them in a sieve to drain all the water. Then cut the fruits into medium pieces, and leave the small ones intact.
5. Combine all products in one deep bowl and season with mayonnaise.
6. Toss salad with pickled mushrooms, melted cheese, eggs, green onions and mayonnaise. Cover it with cling film and refrigerate for one hour.
