Silver carp is a delicious fish, it contains a lot of tender meat, while there are few small bones. Its meat is suitable for any cooking method, it still remains soft and juicy. This fish is stewed, boiled, baked, fried, etc. It is delicious without any embellishments and additions.

The recipe with which I want to share with you does not apply to the highest cooking. Nevertheless, such a fish is very tasty and especially appetizing, thanks to which it is present not only at a regular family dinner, but also decorates a festive feast. You can serve potatoes, rice, and spaghetti as a side dish for silver carp, or just a salad of fresh vegetables.

The most difficult process of preparing fish is cleaning it. You need to remove all the scales, of which there are a lot, otherwise the pleasure from the dish will not be fully. The silver carp is available in different sizes, both large and small. I recommend choosing a larger carcass, then the meat will be softer and softer.

1. Prepare the breading. To do this, pour wheat flour on a flat plate, add salt and a mixture of ground peppers.

2. Stir the seasoning flour well and smooth over the entire surface of the plate.

3. I bought fish steaks ready-made, so I only had to wash and dry them with a paper towel. But if you purchased a whole carcass, then peel it of scales, cut off the head, tail and fins, and gut all the insides. After washing it, cut into portioned steaks about 1, 5 cm thick and bread them in flour.

4. Dip each fish slice in flour on all sides.

5. Put the pan on the stove, pour in the vegetable oil and heat it very well. When the pan starts to smoke, it means that it is already heated and you can start frying the fish. Place the steaks in a skillet and grill them over high heat.

6. First fry the fish on one side until golden brown, then turn it over and fry until the same state. Put the finished steaks on plates and serve hot.
