Of course, buying ready-made garlic seasoning is not a problem now, but it is better to make it yourself at home. Such a blank does not compare with store products. You can dry garlic with whole heads, cloves, chopped and twisted. Garlic of any variety is suitable for drying.
The finished dried product is well stored in a dehydrated form and is used independently for making soups, sausages, pickling and salting. It is stored in the form of chips and powder. 1. Peel the garlic. To do this, press the head of the garlic with your palm so that it crumbles into the chives. To easily remove the husks from the cloves, press the side of the knife on the clove until the juice is released.
2. Cut the peeled garlic into small slices.
3. Place the slices on a baking sheet, which is placed in a preheated oven to 50 ° C and dry the garlic for the winter for 5 hours. At the same time, stir it periodically so that it dries evenly.
You can make garlic powder from the finished dried garlic. To do this, pass it several times through the grinder attachment in a meat grinder or use a coffee grinder. The dried cubes will turn to powder.
