In this article I will tell you a rather specific, at the same time, a fairly well-known and popular recipe from zucchini, which is called "Ogonyok". This is the simplest and most delicious snack you can make with this vegetable.
"Ogonyok" will certainly appeal to lovers of savory and spicy snacks. It can be made not too hot, or with a milder taste. The light itself is nothing more than adjika from tomatoes, which is prepared with the addition of unchanged ingredients like garlic, vinegar, pepper. Therefore, the food turns out to be spicy, from which the name comes. And everything else depends solely on taste. Some add hot peppers, others apples, others carrots, while others prefer onions or bell peppers. The sauce technology does not prevent it from changing or supplementing, "adjusting" the recipe to your own taste. By the way, such a snack can be prepared not only for preservation, but also in small portions for daily use during the summer.

- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Vegetable oil - for frying and for sauce 2 tbsp.
Cooking zucchini for the winter "Ogonyok"
1. To prepare the hot "light" sauce, place the following products in a food processor, into which the "cutting knife" attachment is pre-installed: tomatoes, garlic, sweet and hot peppers. To do this, first wash and dry all the vegetables. Cut the tomatoes into quarters. Peel the garlic. Peel sweet and bitter peppers from seeds and partitions.
2. Beat the vegetables well to get a homogeneous liquid consistency. If you do not have such a kitchen "unit", then use a meat grinder.
3. By this time, wash the zucchini, dry it and cut into rings about 5 mm thick.
4. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat. Place the zucchini rings, season with salt and pepper and fry on both sides until golden brown.
5. Pour the tomato mass into a convenient container and add salt, sugar, pepper, vegetable oil and vinegar to it. Stir well and leave for 5-10 minutes to completely dissolve the salt and sugar.
