To make a pumpkin, you must first buy it. But with her choice, you can miss great, so a couple of tips on how to choose the right pumpkin.
- Give preference to a fruit that seems heavier for its size when you pick it up.
- Fresh fruit should be firm, you can check this by pressing on it with your finger. A soft vegetable is a stale product.
- A strong green stem speaks of a freshly harvested pumpkin.
- The fruit must be of a uniform color, free of abrasions, scratches and depressions.

- Pumpkin - 400 g
- Orange - 1 pc.
- Honey - 2-3 tablespoons
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp

Cooking baked pumpkin in the oven
1. Peel the pumpkin, but if the fruits are young, then they can be left with the peel. Then wash it, dry it and cut into pieces about 1 cm thick. Do not crush them very finely, otherwise they will quickly dry out, burn and become dry.
2. Wash the orange under running water, dry, cut in half and squeeze out the juice. To extract the maximum amount of juice, make several punctures on the citrus pulp with a sharp knife.
3. Now combine orange juice, honey and cinnamon. If honey causes allergic reactions, then replace it with sugar, jam or preserves.
4. Stir the food well to distribute it evenly. If the honey is thick, then you can first melt it a little in a water bath.
5. Put the pumpkin on a baking sheet greased with butter.
6. Pour cooked sweet sauce over each pumpkin slice.
7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and send the pumpkin to bake for 20-30 minutes. Roasting time depends on the size and thickness of the pumpkin. Ready pumpkin can be eaten in this form, or you can grind it and cook porridge, make cheese cakes or bake pancakes.
