Today we will talk about basic injectable preparations containing amino acid compounds. The content of the article:

  • L-Glutathione
  • L-carnitine
  • Beta-alanine and L-carnisone
  • D-aspartic acid

The need for amino acid compounds has already been mentioned more than once. Most of these substances are used by the body to build tissue. Also, amino acids can perform other tasks, for example, increasing the number of neurotransmitters. Basically, preparations containing amino acid compounds are produced in tablet form. With their help, athletes satisfy the body's needs for these substances. But there are times when injections are most effective. This may be due to poor absorption of oral medications, gastric dysfunction, or other causes. Today we will focus on those amino acid compounds that should be injected.

L-Glutathione

This substance is an antioxidant. It is naturally synthesized in the liver and is used by the body to fight free radicals and perform basic liver functions such as detoxifying the body and metabolizing fatty acids.

Once in the stomach, glutathione is broken down into three simpler substances - glutamine, cystine and glycine. Almost immediately after that, they dissolve among other amino acid compounds, which, of course, cannot lead to an increase in glutathione levels. This is where injections come in. Intramuscularly administered glutathione does not break down into components, but enters the blood in its original form.

Thanks to this, it is easier for the body to fight free radicals, inflammation and improve the overall condition of the athlete. To achieve the desired effect, the daily dose of the drug is from 100 to 200 milligrams.

L-carnitine

This substance plays a huge role in the body. It is thanks to carnitine that fat cells are broken down. If you exceed the standard dose of an amino acid compound, then fat burning will continue even in the presence of carbohydrates.

Of course, this can be a very useful fact, but there are two features. Firstly, if the drug is taken orally, then the dosage must be very large to achieve this result and can cause problems with the stomach. It is also worth mentioning the rather high cost of carnitine, which makes the use of an oral drug for these purposes inappropriate.

Second, when carnitine levels rise, insulin levels need to be raised. As you know, the synthesis of this hormone is the body's response to sugar intake. However, it is sugar that blocks the action of carnitine. Again, the athlete will need injectable amino acids on a steroid cycle. If the substance is injected intramuscularly, then high dosages are not needed to raise its level, and the stomach will not be involved.

If the athlete has sufficient experience, then together with carnitine, he can also inject insulin (about 1 or 2 IU is enough), thereby increasing the effectiveness of the drug. But it's worth saying right away that using insulin injections for these purposes is quite dangerous. In principle, a glass of orange juice can induce the synthesis of a sufficient amount of the hormone.

Dosages of L-carnitine range from 200 to 500 mg daily for the first week. Then the dose should be reduced to 100 or 200 mg daily.

Beta-alanine and L-carnisone

There has been a lot of talk about beta-alanine lately, and many already know its merits. Thanks to scientific research, it has been clearly established that with its help it is possible to significantly increase strength indicators, reduce fatigue and increase endurance. Of course, this is a very useful and necessary amino acid for athletes.

However, not many people know that L-carnisone is required to activate all of the described benefits of beta-alanine. But this amino acid compound is destroyed when it enters the stomach. People who consume a sufficient amount of protein compounds supply the body with a sufficient amount of L-histidine, which is necessary for the synthesis of carnisone.

However, beta-alanine is also a unique amino acid and must be taken orally to maximize its effect. At the same time, large doses of the substance can cause stomach upset. But there is L-carnisone in the form of injections, which is able to solve the situation that has arisen.

A daily intake of about 200 mg of carnisone intramuscularly can raise the level of this substance to the required values and maintain it for a couple of weeks. Many have probably already realized how necessary injectable amino acids can be on a steroid cycle.

D-aspartic acid

Thanks to the latest research on the male hormone, it was found that D-aspartic acid is able to enhance the process of spermatogenesis. But this is not the only advantage of this amino acid compound. Among other things, D-aspartic acid enhances the production of luteinizing hormone, on which the level of synthesis of testosterone itself directly depends. In fact, D-Aspartic Acid is a double-acting weapon to increase male hormone production.

But there is a problem with the tolerance of the substance. Many athletes using this remedy complain of problems with the gastrointestinal tract. Injectable D-aspartic acid does not have this side effect. It is enough to use from 100 to 200 mg of the substance to significantly increase the level of testosterone in the body.

Thus, some amino acid substances are best used by injection. This will achieve a great effect and avoid some of the problems associated with large dosages of oral drugs. The only limiting factor for the widespread use of the amino acid compounds described above is the need for decent experience. After all, if the injection is not made correctly, serious problems can arise.
