The "hero" of this review is a salad with Chinese cabbage, smoked ham and corn, which belongs to the "golden mean". It simultaneously refers to dietary dishes thanks to Peking cabbage and chicken meat, and to hearty ones, because contains a large amount of fiber. It is both nutritious and not too high in calories.

This salad is prepared from ordinary products, so it does not require much effort and time consuming. No preliminary preparation is required here: cut the chicken into small pieces, rinse the cabbage and chop it into thin strips, defrost the corn or remove it from a can.   • Peking cabbage - 5-6 leaves
  • Salt - pinch or to taste
  • Smoked chicken leg - 1 pc.
  • Olive oil - for dressing
  • Corn (canned, frozen or boiled) - 100-150 g

1. Wash the required amount of Chinese cabbage leaves under running water, dry with a paper towel and chop into thin strips.

2. Wash and dry the smoked chicken leg with a paper towel. Remove the skin and excess fat from the meat, otherwise the salad will not look very appetizing. Then cut the meat off the bone and cut it into medium pieces or tear along the fibers.

3. Place chopped cabbage, chopped meat and corn into a deep salad bowl. This recipe uses frozen. It should be pre-thawed naturally without using a microwave oven. If using canned corn, tip it in a colander to drain all the brine. Peel fresh ears, boil, cool and cut off the grains.
