Chicken fillet krucheniki, or another name - "chicken fillet rolls" - meat twisted "construction", where the main ingredient is beaten breasts, and sometimes marinated fillet. The dish belongs to Ukrainian cuisine. At home, traditionally, they used a variety of fillings for it: porridge, bacon, pickled and pickled cucumbers … They bake it in the oven or stew it in a sauce, each housewife has the right to choose the cooking technology. Such a treat was served exclusively as a festive dish. In modern recipes, buckwheat, rice, prunes, dried apricots, eggs, ham, garlic, herbs, tomatoes and mushrooms are chosen for the filling. Today I stuffed chicken fillet with prunes and baked in the oven.
Ready-made prune croutons can be served with any side dish or with fresh vegetables. In any case, it will be very tasty. Tender chicken flesh and spicy prunes inside … and all this is baked in the oven! Ingredients:
- Chicken fillet - 1 pc.
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Any spices and spices to taste
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Prunes - 100 g
- Dried basil - 1 tsp
Step-by-step preparation of chicken fillet tortilla, recipe with photo:
1. Cut the chicken fillet lengthwise so that you get 1 cm thick layers. Beat each of them on both sides with a kitchen hammer.
2. Season the meat with salt, ground pepper and sprinkle with dried or fresh basil.
3. Wash the prunes, chop finely and put on the meat. If the berries are pitted, remove them first. If they are very dry, then pour boiling water for 5 minutes to soften them. Peel the garlic, wash, chop finely and put on the meat.
4. Roll the fillets into rolls. For reliability, you can fasten them with toothpicks or tie them with a thread.
5. Place the meat rolls in a baking dish, which is pre-greased with vegetable oil.
6. Send the chicken fillet rolls to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for half an hour. Do not keep them longer, otherwise the meat will become dry and not appetizing. Serve the rolls warm with any side dish. Although, after cooling, they can be served as cold cuts of cold meats.
