Lavash triangles with apples and nuts are a delicious dessert that you can take with you for a snack to work, picnic, on the road and give your child to school. Ingredients:
- Thin Armenian lavash - 2 pcs. oval
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Butter - 20-30 g for frying
- Apples - 3-4 pcs. depending on the size
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Raw peanuts - 50 g
- Sugar - optional and to taste
Step-by-step preparation of lavash triangles with apples and nuts, recipe with photo:
1. Place the peanuts in a clean, dry hot skillet. Fry it over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the husk separates. Since it fries quickly, it can burn instantly. Therefore, keep an eye on him, not leaving for a minute.
2. Peel the peanuts. If you don't want to fry it, you can buy it ready-made to just peel it.
3. Melt half the butter in a skillet.
Wash, dry, core and cut the apples into medium-sized cubes. Send them to a heated skillet. Season the fruit with ground cinnamon and add sugar if desired. Put another piece of butter on top. During heat treatment, it will melt and saturate the apples with a delicate creamy taste.
4. Fry the apples on medium for about 10-15 minutes so that they acquire a golden caramel hue, while retaining their shape and not turning into a puree.
5. While the apples are roasting, cut the pita bread into thin strips about 10 cm wide.
6. Place the apple filling on one edge of the pita bread strip.
7. Add a few roasted peanut kernels to it.
8. Tuck the edge of the pita bread, covering the filling.
9. Roll the pita bread on the tape, giving the shape of a triangle.
10. Roll pita bread along its entire length.
11. Tuck the edges of the pita bread into triangles so that the pies do not unfold.
13. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and place pita bread triangles with apples and nuts. Fry them on both sides until golden brown and crisp. Put the finished pies on a paper napkin so that it absorbs all the fat and serve the pastries to the table.
