This recipe is suitable for absolutely any sea fish. However, I still propose to start experimenting with budget mackerel. Baked fish with lemon is a simple culinary masterpiece. The citrus fruit gives the fish a noble aroma and aristocratic sourness.
The subtleties of cooking baked mackerel
One of the main secrets of cooking baked mackerel is to use fish that is not completely thawed, but slightly frozen. Then it will be easier to cut and separate the fillets from the ridge. If you decide to bake the fish without cutting off the head, be sure to remove the gills. For a piquant taste, fish can be baked with garlic and herbs, or with carrots, bell peppers, onions and tomatoes.
Benefits of mackerel for weight loss, beauty and health
Mackerel, like many other sea fish, is a storehouse of essential vitamins and minerals. It is included in the list of must-have foods and popular diets. After all, mackerel is a fairly satisfying product, and after eating it for a long time you don't want to eat, so the body will not accumulate excess fat. Mackerel also contains fatty acids that improve vascular function, reduce the risk of blood clots and normalize blood pressure. Vitamin A and phosphorus stored in mackerel strengthen teeth, hair and bones.

Cooking baked mackerel
1. Defrost the mackerel a little. Then cut off the head, tail, remove the entrails and divide into fillets. Wash it under running water and pat dry with a paper towel.
2. Prepare the sauce. To do this, pour mayonnaise into a container, put fish seasoning, salt, black pepper and a mixture of peppers. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon and add it to all the spices.
3. Stir the sauce well.
4. Coat the mackerel fillet with the prepared sauce and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
5. After this time, place the mackerel fillets in a baking dish. This can be a glass or ceramic surface, or a regular baking sheet. To prevent the fish from sticking, you can cover the dish with baking parchment. Heat the oven to 200 degrees and send the mackerel to bake on the lower shelf for 45 minutes. When serving the fish, you can sprinkle it a little with lemon juice.
