It is so simple and not difficult that even a novice cook can handle the recipe.
The good thing about this recipe is that the fish is cooked with little or no additives. Although, if you wish, you can make mackerel with any fillings from those products that can be found in the refrigerator. A mixture of peppers works well as a spice, it enhances the natural taste of the fish. Dried ginger works well as it adds a touch of flavor. You can add a little thyme or oregano, there will not be an extra pinch of lemon balm.

Ingredients:
- Mackerel - 1 pc.
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - pinch or to taste
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Seasoning for fish - 0.5 tsp
- Ground black pepper - pinch or to taste
- Mustard - 0.5 tsp
Step by step cooking baked mackerel in foil in the oven, recipe with photo:
1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, mustard, lemon juice, fish seasoning, black pepper and salt.
2. Stir the food well until smooth.
3. In mackerel, rip open the belly, remove the entrails and peel off the black film from the inside of the belly.
4. Remove the gills and eyes from the fish. Wash it well inside and out, and dry it dry with a paper towel.
5. From a roll of foil, cut the desired cut to fit the whole carcass, and place the mackerel on it.
6. With the prepared sauce, grease the inside of the carcass well.
7. Then coat it on the outside on all sides.
8. Wrap the mackerel tightly with foil so that there are no empty places and send it to bake in a heated oven to 180 degrees for half an hour. Ready fish is delicious to eat both warm and chilled. It can be used with any side dish or used for any salads.
