The benefits of broccoli have turned her into the queen of a healthy table, from which the number of admirers is increasing from year to year. The benefits of other types of cabbage fade away in front of the "inner world" of broccoli. After all, only in terms of the content of easily digestible protein, it was ahead of asparagus and spinach. It contains "shock" doses of carotene, folic and ascorbic acids, vitamins, magnesium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus and sodium salts. However, the benefits of broccoli are much broader than the above indicators.
Broccoli contains fatty acids, like omega 3, in the form of alpha-linolenic acid, which is essential for diseases of the cardiovascular system and for the prevention of atherosclerosis. Cooking broccoli with homemade sausages
1. Since homemade sausages take much longer to cook than broccoli, start cooking with them. I used my own sausages, but you can buy them in the store, or, like me, cook it yourself. So, cut the homemade sausages into pieces about 3 cm in size.
2. Heat the frying pan with vegetable oil well and send the sausages to fry. Fry them over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
3. Meanwhile, wash broccoli, dry and disassemble into inflorescences.
4. Place a second frying pan on the stove, into which pour refined vegetable oil and send broccoli to fry. Saute the cabbage over medium heat until lightly browned.
5. Then put the cabbage in a frying pan with the sausages and add some water. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer everything over low heat for about 30 minutes, until the cabbage acquires a tender and soft consistency. At the end of cooking, lightly season with salt and pepper.
