Eating a very inexpensive vegetable, like zucchini, can enrich your body with minerals, vitamins and other useful substances. Well, meat, of any kind, goes well with them. In addition, protein, a very important component of meat, enhances the beneficial effects of the vegetable. And zucchini, in turn, improves its digestion and helps to normalize acidity in the stomach. And in terms of taste, the products are ideal.
The combination of these two products has a ton of cooking options. For example, you can make casseroles or cutlets, stuff the zucchini or stew the ingredients. But here it should be borne in mind that zucchini is cooked quite quickly, therefore meat is very often included in the recipe in the form of minced meat, because it takes less time to cook than whole pieces. The second most popular ingredient in a dish is cheese. It improves both the taste and the aesthetic qualities of the food, because baked ruddy cheese crust looks very appetizing and makes you appetite.

How to cook French zucchini with meat
1. You can buy minced meat in the store ready-made, but it is better to cook it yourself. So it will be of better quality, tastier and fresher. To do this, rinse the meat under water and cut into pieces so that they fit into the neck of the meat grinder. Place the medium nozzle in the appliance and pass the meat through the wire shelf. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and mix well. You can also grind the meat in a food processor or blender. Well, its variety can be made by anyone, from diet chicken to fatty pork.
2. Wash the courgettes, dry and cut into rings of 5-7 mm. Grease a baking tray with a thin layer of vegetable oil and place the zucchini rings tightly. Season them with salt and pepper.
I advise you to use young zucchini, because they have few seeds and a delicate skin that can not be cut off.
3. Put minced meat on each ring of zucchini. Take a portion of it, near a dessert spoon, roll a ball out of it, which you press down. Place the resulting cake on a vegetable.
4. Wash the tomatoes, cut into rings no thicker than 5 mm and place on the meat. Salt them lightly.
5. Grate cheese and sprinkle tomatoes on it.
6. Heat the oven to 180 ° C and send the snack to bake for half an hour. If you want the cheese to be stretchy, then put it on a baking sheet 10 minutes before the dish is ready. According to my recipe, it turns out to be baked with a crispy brown crust.
7. Serve the finished dish hot. You can decorate it with fresh herbs before serving.
