Ingredients:
- Margarine - 200 g
- Sugar - 100 g or to taste
- Rye flour - 150 g
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Jam (any) - 200 g
- Salt - a pinch
- Wheat flour - 150 g
- Eggs - 1 pc.
Step by step preparation of grated rye flour pie, recipe with photo:
1. Place the cutter attachment in the food processor. Cut the cold temperature margarine into slices and place in the food processor. Add eggs to the bowl.
2. Pour flour sifted through a fine sieve onto the food.
3. Knead an elastic dough. If you don't have a food processor, grate the margarine and knead the dough with your hands. But do it quickly so the margarine doesn't melt from the warmth of your palms. Otherwise, the cake will taste differently and will be less crunchy.
4. Remove the dough from the food processor, shape it into a spherical shape, wrap it in plastic and refrigerate for 50 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes.
5. Remove the dough and divide it into 2 pieces. One of them should be 3 times larger than the other. Roll out most of the dough into a thin layer 5-6 mm thick and place in a baking dish, forming low sides.
6. Spread the jam on the cake and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. In this recipe, apple jam, so it goes well with cinnamon.
7. Grate the remaining dough on a coarse grater and sprinkle on the jam.
8. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the grated rye flour pie to bake for 40 minutes.
