Today we continue to introduce you to the best recipes for simple pies. This time we will cook grated pie on margarine with jam. The simplicity of making the pie allows it to be included in the category of “guests on the doorstep”.

- Margarine - 200 g
- Turmeric - 1 tbsp l.
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.
- Flour - 2-3 tbsp.
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
- Jam - 1 tbsp. or more
Step by step preparation of grated margarine pie with jam
1. Remove margarine from the refrigerator beforehand to soften. In some recipes, margarine is offered to be melted - this is also an option, but then the dough does not come out shortbread. If you want to quickly make a pie, but there is no time for softening, then use the emergency option - roll out a pack of margarine with a rolling pin. And put the broken "layer" in a warm place (battery or near the burner) for 5-10 minutes. Add sugar to soft margarine. Beat with a mixer or knead with a fork.
2. Add eggs to the dough.
3. Beat the dough again. It doesn't have to be uniform. Lumps are acceptable, as in our photo.
4. Add sifted flour with baking powder and turmeric. The latter will not greatly affect the taste, but the color of the dough is very even - it will be yellow.
5. Knead the dough on the table or in a bowl. Divide the dough into two unequal balls. The smaller one will rub. We send the dough to the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes.
6. Cover the baking sheet or baking dish with parchment paper. Roll out a larger piece of dough with a rolling pin and transfer to a mold. We bend the edges of the dough, forming the sides.
7. Spread the jam in a not very thick layer. If you only have liquid jam in your arsenal, mix it with starch and heat a little. It will not spread, as the starch will thicken the jam when baking.
8. We take out the second piece of dough and three of it on a grater directly onto the pie. By the way, it is from here that the name of the pie is grated.
9. Bake the cake for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees. But still focus on your oven - the dough should be baked.
10. Cool the finished pie completely and cut into pieces. A fragrant, tasty and simple cake is ready. You can try.
