Step-by-step preparation of apple jam with cinnamon according to a simple recipe for the winter
We prepare raw materials for jam - apples. We wash them, clean them, cut them into slices and remove the core. There is no need to worry about the darkening of the apple slices - after heat treatment, the color of the jam will still darken.
Fill the apples with sugar.
Pour in water and leave the apples to let juice for about 4-5 hours.
Put the apples in syrup on the fire and cook over low heat for an hour and a half. Throw a cinnamon stick into the pan 20-30 minutes before the end of cooking. By the way, it can be replaced with 1-2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon. Finished apple slices will boil a little and become transparent. As soon as the sling thickens and begins to grab onto the sides of the saucepan, it's time to remove the apples from the heat.
Let the apples in the syrup cool slightly and use the hand blender to puree them. By the way, apples can be rubbed through a sieve with large holes. It will take a little longer, but this is how jams were made before, when not every kitchen had a blender!
Sterile dry jars are ready. It remains to warm them up a little in the microwave and spread the jam over them. We roll up the cans and wrap them up so that they cool down gradually.
That's all! Lovely Amber Cinnamon Apple Jam is a simple recipe treat, ready and hidden in the pantry. Do not deprive yourself of pleasure and leave one jar for now - the delicious scent will give you joyful sensations and paint a smile on your face!
