- Shortbread cookies - 250 g

Step-by-step preparation of a banana cheesecake for the New Year
1. In order to prepare the base of the cheesecake, take a shortbread cookie: "baked milk" or "tea" is perfect. Break the cookies into small pieces and place them in a blender bowl. Grind until a homogeneous crumb is obtained.
2. Melt the butter and pour into the liver.
3. Mix thoroughly. You should get a wet crumb that holds its shape well if you squeeze it.
4. We form the basis of the future dessert. We pour out the crumbs on the bottom of the detachable form and, leveling, tamp it, evenly distributing it over the entire surface.
5. Pour a bag of gelatin with 60 ml of cold boiled water (this is 7 tablespoons). We give the gelatin time to swell.
6. Transfer the gelatin to a small saucepan and, while stirring, heat well over low heat. It must not be allowed to boil, but the temperature must be high enough, about 70-80 degrees, for the crystals to dissolve. We set aside the gelatin, let it cool.
7. We proceed to the curd part of the cheesecake. Combine cottage cheese, banana pulp and natural yogurt in a deep bowl. If yogurt is not available, it can be replaced with low-fat sour cream.
8. We interrupt the ingredients for the curd base with an immersion blender.
9. Pour gelatin cooled to room temperature into the curd mass and mix with a blender.
10. Pour the curd mass onto the cookie base. We send it to the refrigerator so that the gelatin hardens well. 2-3 hours will be enough, but you can cook it in the evening and start decorating in the morning.
11. We will decorate the snow-white banana cheesecake with chocolate Christmas trees. You will need parchment cut into 10 cm strips and a chocolate bar. We will melt it in a water bath or in a microwave. Put the chocolate in a small bag and cut the corner about a millimeter so that the chocolate flows out of it in a thin stream. Draw Christmas trees on parchment, about 20 pieces. Let the chocolate freeze.
12. Apply the parchment strips to the frozen cheesecake so that the chocolate Christmas trees stick to its sides.
13. Carefully remove the parchment. Chocolate trees are arranged around the cheesecake. Expect some of the trees to break. For this case, we have drawn them with a margin.
14. Stick a few Christmas trees on top of the cheesecake and sprinkle the surface with decorative edible beads. I have them in silver. Looks very New Year's!
15. Banana cheesecake for the New Year is ready! Very stylish, incredibly beautiful, delicate in taste and, as you can see, not very difficult to prepare, it will become a real star on the festive New Year's table!
