Ingredients:
- Honey mushrooms - 500 g
- Onions - 1-2 pcs.
- Salt pepper - to taste

Step by step cooking of fried honey mushrooms with onions:
1. Peel and chop the onion. You can take one, two or even three onions - the sweetish taste of fried onions will only favorably emphasize the taste of mushrooms.
2. In a hot skillet, fry the onion in sunflower or any other vegetable oil until it becomes transparent and begins to brown.
3. Pre-boil the washed and lightly dried mushrooms over high heat for 5 minutes. Drain the water and fill in the mushrooms a second time. Let it boil for 20-25 minutes. Then, making sure that the mushrooms have gone through a good heat treatment, we let them drain and put them in the pan. The largest mushrooms can be cut, but in general, these mushrooms are quite small, so you can fry them whole.
4. Begin to fry mushrooms over high heat without covering the pan with a lid. After a few minutes, the mushrooms will give juice and it is important that all the liquid has evaporated from the pan. Under the lid, the mushrooms will not turn golden, but will be stewed in an abundance of moisture. Cook mushrooms with onions for 15-20 minutes.
5. Already just before the end of cooking, about 5 minutes before turning off the heat, salt and pepper the mushrooms to taste.
6. If you have collected a lot of mushrooms, you can freeze some of them by pre-boiling them and dividing them into portions. In this way, you can cook mushrooms in the middle of winter, after the mushroom season is over. All that remains to be done is to get the bag of honey agarics from the freezer.
