Pudding is a delicate and, as a rule, dessert dish with an airy and fluffy consistency. Puddings are boiled or baked in an oven. The dish is cooked in a water bath or in a double boiler, and baked in an oven or airfryer. In this recipe I will tell you the second cooking option. But in any case, any food will turn out to be airy and tasty, with an amazing consistency and a pleasant creamy aroma. Therefore, I definitely recommend everyone to try it! After all, every housewife can bake such rice pudding without much effort.

Ready-made pudding can easily become a great breakfast, afternoon tea or even a great dish for a gala feast. Pudding is loved by both children and their parents. And if your kids do not like to eat rice porridge, then they will definitely gobble up rice pudding on both cheeks. In addition, rice pudding can be introduced into the baby's diet from one and a half years old. Although it is possible even earlier, if the child managed to acquire enough teeth for chewing and will master the skills of chewing.

Ingredients:

  • Rice - 150 g
  • Water or milk - 300 ml
  • Apple - 1 pc. (medium size)
  • Honey - 2-3 tablespoons
  • Salt - a small pinch
  • Eggs - 2 pcs. (big size)

1. Rinse the rice well in 7 waters to wash out all the gluten. Place it in a strainer and rinse until the water is clear. This means that the rice is rinsed well. Transfer the rice to a saucepan, cover with drinking water or milk and boil until almost cooked. Transfer the boiled rice to a bowl in which you will knead the food.

2. Break the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Do this carefully so that not a single drop of yolk gets into the whites. Place the yolks in a bowl with rice, also put honey, which you can replace with brown sugar or any jam.

3. Stir the rice. In some recipes, it is proposed to interrupt the boiled rice with a blender until a homogeneous consistency. You can try to do this. Then the pudding will have a uniform texture.

4. Wash and peel the apples. Cut into slices and add to rice. You can peel them first. This is already a matter of taste. It is also allowed to grate apples. But then they will be lost in the total mass. I like to cut them more to get the taste of apple slices.

5. Stir the rice with apples.

6. Beat the protein well with a mixer until firm white peaks and an airy mass.

7. Gently add the beaten egg white to the rice dough and stir slowly to maintain airiness in the dough.

8. Line a baking dish with parchment or butter. Lay out the dough and smooth it out evenly.

9. Heat the oven to 180-200 degrees and send the product to bake for 35-40 minutes. Check the readiness with a wooden splinter, piercing the pudding with it, there should be no sticky adhesions on it. Serve the dessert warm or chilled. When served, it can be poured over with any sweet syrup.
