Meat is one of the main ingredients of the dish, without which more than one celebration can hardly do. After all, this is a huge collection of essential amino acids. Legumes, like beans, are the second-largest meat substitute in terms of protein content. And two squirrels combined in one dish are destructive force.
Beans are very inexpensive and versatile. In cooking, it is used for all kinds of dishes. It is good in soup, as fillings for feasts, or simply make ordinary puree from it. And to make a truly fantastic dish, you just need to stew it with meat in tomato sauce. If possible, the beans can be cooked in pots. It turns out such a dish is very tasty, aromatic and appetizing. Either way, stewed beans are a nutritious, satisfying and delicious lunch or dinner.
This dish takes a long time to prepare. Although the longest process is the soaking of the beans, it is almost overnight. And then, the classic cooking option: boiling legumes, frying meat and stewing both components. But as a result, the taste of an amazing hearty dish will definitely delight you.

- Pork - 1 kg
- Beans - 200 g (white, red, black)
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Tomato paste - 3 tablespoons
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Bay leaf - 3 pcs.
- Allspice peas - 3 pcs.
- Refined vegetable oil - for frying
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Ground black pepper - 1/3 tsp or to taste
Cooking beans with meat
1. Sort out the beans from dirt and debris, put in a sieve and rinse with water. Then transfer to a deep container and fill with water in a 1: 2 ratio. Leave it to soak for 10 hours. If possible, change the water several times so that it does not ferment.
2. After this time, transfer the beans to a sieve again, rinse and transfer to a saucepan. Fill with clean water 1: 2 and put it on the stove to boil. Cook the beans over medium heat without a lid, otherwise they will darken, for 2 hours until soft.
3. Season the beans with salt 15 minutes before the end of cooking. Salting the beans earlier will take longer to cook. Throw the finished legume on a sieve and let all the liquid drain.
4. While the beans are cooking, wash and dry the pork. Cut the film with veins from it and cut into medium pieces. Peel the onion, rinse, dry and chop into half rings.
5. Put the frying pan on the stove, pour in the vegetable oil and put the meat to fry.
6. Fry the meat on both sides over high heat until golden brown. The meat will brown and retain all the juice.
7. Remove the fried meat from the skillet and place the chopped onions in it. Saute it over medium heat until transparent.
8. Combine all the boiled beans, meat and onion in a large skillet.
9. Season the dish with salt and pepper, add bay leaves and peppercorns, add ketchup and mustard.
10. Stir the ingredients.
11. Pour in some drinking water, boil and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.
12. Serve the finished meal hot. Such a dish absolutely does not need a side dish, it is usually eaten on its own.
