Therefore, today we are preparing the simplest dish of available products, but very tasty - fried eggs with onions in lard. This is a simple recipe for a delicious and hearty meal prepared at home in 15 minutes. Despite the fact that this is a very fatty dish, lard contains 3 times less harmful cholesterol than eggs and 2 times less than butter. Eating it in a small amount will not harm the figure, but, on the contrary, will make the skin more elastic.

Ingredients:
- Lard - 150 g
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Onions - 1-3 pcs. depending on the size

Step-by-step cooking of fried eggs with onions in lard, recipe with photo:
1. Peel the onions, wash under running water, dry with a paper towel and cut into thin half rings.
2. Cut the bacon into medium-sized pieces.
3. Put the pan on the stove and put the bacon in it. Lard is fried without oil, because it releases a lot of fat during the frying process.
4. Switch on medium heat on the stove and melt the lard so that there is enough fat in the pan. For the recipe, it is preferable to use a cast iron pan, because it will slowly melt the fat and it will not burn.
5. When the lard has released a sufficient amount of fat, becomes more transparent and golden, add onions to the pan.
6. Fry the onion over medium heat until transparent and golden, stirring occasionally. In a skillet, spread the fried onions to the sides, making 3 small indentations where you will pour the eggs.
7. Carefully break the eggshells and pour the contents into the pan into the prepared nests. Do this gently to keep the yolks intact. Swirl a little in the skillet to spread the protein over the skillet.
Season the eggs and onions with salt to taste and, if desired, season with black pepper or any spices. Salt the eggs gently, depending on the degree of salinity of the bacon.
