5. The cherries must be defrosted in advance, for this you need to take them out of the freezer at least 5 hours before making the pie. Throw on a sieve so that all excess liquid is glass and free from pits (if any). Gently place the cherries on the dough, spreading them evenly over the entire surface, and gently press each berry into the dough.
