Cut the canistel into cubes, the tomatoes into slices, mix all the ingredients in a large bowl to keep the cut intact, add the juice and seasonings. Sweet peppers or citrus fruits are added as an experiment with taste.
  5. Marmalade … Very ripe canestel, 4 pieces, peeled, pitted, cut into cubes, placed in an enamel container, poured with a glass of boiled water and sugar is poured - 0.5-1 cups. Cook until thick. Pieces of pulp should be completely boiled. Lemon or lime juice is added to the finished thickened marmalade, achieving a pleasant taste. Citric acid will not work as a flavoring agent, the taste will be sharp, unpleasant. The marmalade is laid out in molds, cooled to room temperature and put into the refrigerator.
  6. Salad … Kanistel can be added to salads, one of the ingredients of which is persimmon. The most successful option is the following: 1 canister fruit is cut into cubes, mixed with boiled chicken or turkey fillet cut into strips, with avocado pulp cubes and red onion rings, laid out on a dish decorated with lettuce leaves - it is torn by hand.
