The benefits of cabbage are known to everyone. It contains a huge amount of fiber and a lot of vitamins. That is why dishes with it have been popular for a long time, and this is explained not only by their benefits, but also by their availability. Cabbage can be used of any variety, but most often white cabbage or cauliflower is used. These varieties are present on store shelves all year round, while retaining all vitamins and nutrients during storage. That is why there are so many great cabbage dishes in our kitchen. And one no less popular recipe is the meatballs, which will be discussed today.
It turns out that such a dish is more dietary than meatballs made only from meat. But if you want to make them very light and less greasy, then I recommend baking the dish in the oven, heating it to 180 ° C. To do this, put the cutlets on a baking sheet, previously covered with parchment paper or oiled with vegetable oil, and bake the food for about 20 minutes. In addition, if the meatballs need to be made vegetarian, then simply exclude the meat component from the components.
The meatballs are served as an independent dish or together with a vegetable salad or any side dish, for example, spaghetti, rice, mashed potatoes. When serving, sour cream, mustard, tomato, garlic or mushroom sauce are often used.

Cooking fried meatballs with meat and cabbage
1. Wash the cauliflower, disassemble into inflorescences and lower into a saucepan. Fill with drinking water and send to the stove.
2. Boil water, add a little salt and blanch the cabbage over low heat for about 3 minutes. Then transfer to a sieve to glass all the liquid and leave to dry.
3. Meanwhile, peel the onion and cut into medium pieces. Peel the garlic off. Wash the potatoes and also cut into pieces. If you use young potatoes, then you do not need to peel them; be sure to cut off the peel from the old fruits.
4. Place the middle wire rack in the meat grinder and twist the meat through it, which must be washed and dried beforehand, and remove the film and veins from it. Next, pass the potatoes, garlic and onions through the appliance.
5. Then twist the cabbage.
6. Add salt to the minced meat, season it with ground pepper and beat in the eggs. You can also add any spices and herbs to taste.
7. Mix the ingredients well until smooth.
8. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat well. Bring your palm to the bottom of the pan, if you feel intense heat, then the pan is well heated. Form the minced meat into a round or oval shape and place in the pan. Heat medium-high and grill them on both sides until golden brown.
9. Serve the meatballs warm, straight out of the pan, with any side dish to taste.
