Kudrania is almost never sold in our markets and stores, because it cannot withstand long-term transportation from East Asia. In Iran, this berry is one of the main ingredients of the national cuisine. At the same time, in taste and nutritional value, it is in no way inferior to strawberries.

When buying a berry, it must be borne in mind that it drains very quickly, so you only need to transfer it in plastic containers. Because of this, it can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 3-4 days, after which the curls become sour in taste. You can still use it to make jam, but then you have to add a little more sugar and cook longer.

This tree grows both wild and cultivated. It bears fruit well on sod land, sand, black earth, peat. The yield of the plant decreases during the rainy season, since it needs a warm climate and sun. That is why the "strawberry tree" is not planted in the shade. It is also very important here that these berries never infect pests.

The largest number of kudrania berries gives 7-8 years after planting. The first fruits appear only after 2-3 years. For 12 months from one tree in the absence of frost, you can get up to 200 kg of harvest.
